Gardner Minshew To Start Against Jaguars
one year ago

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew will make the start for Indy in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It will be his second start of the year and it might not be his last with rookie Anthony Richardson (shoulder) potentially needing a trip to Injured Reserve after suffering a Grade 3 sprained AC joint in the Week 5 win over the Tennessee Titans. In relief of the rookie on Sunday, Minshew went 11-for-14 for 155 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions to get the Colts another win. The 27-year-old has already attempted 83 passes in 2023 and has completed 68.67% of his attempts for 553 yards, two touchdowns and no picks. Minshew will mostly be a game manager for the Colts offense, but he could be in play as a QB2 option in two-QB superflex leagues for the next month or so.
