Gardner Minshew Comes In For Relief Again In Week 5
one year ago

Indianapolis Colts backup quarterback Gardner Minshew was called on to enter Sunday's 23-16 win against the Tennessee Titans. Anthony Richardson (shoulder) was removed in the second quarter after sustaining a shoulder injury. Minshew was efficient and helped keep the visiting Titans at bay, completing 11 of his 14 passes for 155 yards while committing no turnovers in the Week 5 win over the Titans. The fifth-year man has proved to be a competent quarterback when called upon and will continue to be the starter should Richardson miss additional time. It's still being determined if he will be promoted to start again in Week 6, but Minshew can make for a viable streaming option if he starts in a revenge game versus his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
