Gabe Davis Remains A Perpetual Volatile WR3
one year ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis just hasn't been a reliable presence for both his team and fantasy managers alike this year. Davis' Week 9 goose egg on two targets was exacerbated by the fact that he was the intended target on a Josh Allen interception and intentional grounding penalty. The 24-year-old field stretcher's role did a complete one-eighty last Sunday, after Davis commanded 12 targets in Week 8 on an expanded route tree. Despite some teases of growth here and there in a Year 4 contract season, not much has changed regarding Davis' weekly ranking. Fantasy managers can depend on Davis' seventh-most touchdowns (five) and routes run (327) among WRs if playing the volatile wideout in Week 10 versus the Denver Broncos, but he remains nothing more than a boom-or-bust WR3. Davis' setup as an every-down player in a shootout offense with an injury-riddled defense is far more enticing on Monday's single-game DFS showdowns rather than season-long leagues.
