Gabe Davis Paces Bills With 92 Yards In Sunday’s Win
one year ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis hauled in 6-of-7 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-10 victory versus the Las Vegas Raiders. The 24-year-old stepped up to lead Buffalo in receiving in their home opener after head coach Sean McDermott called out the lack of a No. 2 wideout in Week 1's loss. Davis' TD reception came on a tough catch in traffic on fourth-and-goal in the third quarter to get the rout fully underway. The deep threat put a bow on his productive Week 2 via a 40-yard gain with the game well in hand during the fourth period. Davis' every-down role in a high-powered Bills offense renders him hard to displace from the weekly WR3 fold as long as fantasy managers can swallow some occasional flops. He should be treated as such in Week 3's road encounter with the Washington Commanders, albeit a volatile one.
