Gabe Davis Looks To Score In Fifth Straight Game
one year ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis is running on one of the hottest stretches of his career following 2023's season opener. Davis has found the end zone in four straight games en route to a WR12 position in standard-league scoring (52.6) since Week 2. Even so, the 24-year-old deep threat's 15.1% target rate renders his floor a worrisome one in a Week 6 tilt with a depleted New York Giants squad, which may not offer much resistance while missing their starting quarterback, left tackle, and center in a hostile environment. Davis poses plenty of chemistry with QB Josh Allen, as evidenced by PlayerProfiler's fourth-ranked target quality rating (8.3), but the volatile wideout remarkably has more scores than red-zone targets (three) this season. He's certainly on a highly effective run, but Davis likely needs touchdown variance to stay in his favor in order to return a satisfying fantasy outcome. Treat him as a WR2 in non-PPR and a WR3 in PPR formats.
