Gabe Davis Looks To Re-Enter Box Score Sunday
12 months ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis is someone we can quantify as a player who is virtually impossible to project. Davis has hit paydirt in five games with 75 yards per game in those instances, but he's an averaging a mere 19.2 yards in six other games without a score. You may have heard this one before, but Davis is a boom-or-bust WR3 on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles after essentially running sprints in Week 11 with zero targets on 35 routes run and a 90.5% snap share. The talented, yet unpredictable, 24-year-old is always a better bet in standard fantasy leagues and DFS tournaments, but his chances of reaching a ceiling outcome are perhaps amplified by a matchup with an Eagles defense that's being carved up for the most fantasy points per game (46.15) to opposing wideouts. If there was ever a week to deploy Davis with some modicum of confidence, it might just be in Week 12 for a possible shootout with the Eagles.
