Gabe Davis In Shy-Away Spot On Monday
one year ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis tries to start 2023 against the New York Jets the same way he opened 2022. The 24-year-old scored the first touchdown of '22 in last year's season opener. While Davis placed in third in yards per reception (17.4), he failed to return consistent weekly value. Now in his fourth year, Davis represents one of fantasy's top post-hype sleeper candidates as an every-down player in a high-octane Bills attack. Week 1's draw against New York's dynamic cornerback duo of Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed is as tough as it comes, however, rendering Davis' chances of booming far less likely than usual. Davis also mainly plays on the same side of the field as Gardner does. Davis checks in as his usual low-floor/high-ceiling FLEX self on Monday. Season-long fantasy managers in shallow head-to-head PPR formats should be able to find a more reliable WR3 for the opening week.
