Gabe Davis Flops Against Patriots Again
one year ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis posted his second consecutive dud in Week 7's disconcerting 29-25 loss to the New England Patriots, bringing in one pass for six yards. Davis matched teammate Stefon Diggs' first half with one six-yard reception but out-targeted him 4-3 over this frame. That was the extent of the positives for the 24-year-old deep threat, as New England has served as a Davis kryptonite of sorts. He's now put up 1.8 catches for 20.5 yards per game in six career outings against the Pats. It's also worth noting that first-round rookie Dalton Kincaid could start pushing Davis for looks as quarterback Josh Allen's secondary target, after the tight end racked up eight catches for 75 yards on Sunday. Davis will look for easier sledding in Week 8 versus a notorious pass-funnel Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense.
