Gabe Davis Back In Touchdown Column Thursday
one year ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis assembled one of his career's more balanced efforts in Week 8's 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, corralling nine of his 12 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown. The Bills seemed to make a concerted effort to get Davis involved early and often after his dismal past two games. The 24-year-old deep threat got wide open in the back of the end zone on his third-quarter touchdown. With alpha target Stefon Diggs drawing so much defensive attention on Thursday, Davis found himself in a featured role in Buffalo's Diggs-centric passing attack. Don't expect that to be a trend going forward, but it can't be denied that this is the best Davis' usage looked all season. It's also worth mentioning that Davis now boasts a combined 12/258/3 receiving line in his last two games without Dawson Knox (wrist, IR) since 2022.
