Gabe Davis As Risky As They Come Against Patriots
11 months ago

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more boom-or-bust player than Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis, who is catchless in four of his prior seven games with two 100-yard days mixed in between. Davis hasn't seen much luck when encountering the New England Patriots, who are on tap for Sunday. In fact, Davis tallied more yards in Week 16 (130) than he has in his career against the Pats, with 11 catches (33 targets) for 123 yards and two touchdowns in six games versus New England. We would advise fading the streaky 24-year-old in most season-long leagues to avoid a potential heartache despite last Saturday's blowup, but neither can we totally discount his ability to erupt on any given Sunday. Davis is as high-risk, high-reward that a WR3/flex can come for those willing to go all in on a week where the stakes are at their highest. The combustible Davis is the type that can propel lineups to the top, but he can also torpedo them.
