Gabe Davis Aims To Solve Patriots Woes
one year ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis' four-game scoring streak came to an anticlimactic end, after he caught just three passes for 21 scoreless yards in Week 6's victory. Davis remains a standard-league preference, sitting as the overall WR16 in those modes but the WR24 in full-PPR settings. The 24-year-old's 30 targets on 198 routes run present an unpromising 15.2% target rate. Davis remains a distant, yet clear-cut, No. 2 option for quarterback Josh Allen while tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox wrestle for scraps. Davis has been locked down during his five career games against the New England Patriots, averaging 2.0 catches (5.6 targets) for 23.4 yards and two total touchdowns. Davis hasn't cleared 40 yards in any of these outings. With a dynamic 11.4 yards per target and 16.2 yards per reception, Davis remains a big-play threat but ultimately TD-dependent WR3 in Week 7.
