Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis has rendered fantasy managers bewildered at many turns in 2023, and Week 15's 31-10 triumph over the Dallas Cowboys was probably another one of those instances. Davis didn't reel in his lone target, which makes it four times in his last six games that the 24-year-old field stretcher has been shut out. Sunday was admittedly dominated by an onslaught courtesy of running back James Cook, who rumbled for an earth-shattering 221 yards and two touchdowns. Davis may have had an excuse to get off the hook on this occasion; Dalton Kincaid was also held catchless. But it's all cosmetic for fantasy managers who rolled the dice only to came up with snake eyes again and go for broke in taking the leap of faith with the boom-or-bust WR3. Davis will not be a reliable starter against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16, where Buffalo may not have trouble forming a lead and playing from ahead.
