Falcons Request To Interview Six Head-Coaching Candidates

The Atlanta Falcons have requested permission to interview Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Baltimore Ravens defensive line coach and associate head coach Anthony Weaver, San Francisco 49ers DC Steve Wilks, Cincinnati Bengals OC Brian Callahan and Los Angeles Rams DC Raheem Morris. Callahan also has requests from the Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers for their head-coaching positions. Morris was the Falcons' interim head coach for 11 games in 2020 and has also gotten requests to interview for the Chargers, Washington Commanders and Panthers. Atlanta is searching for a new head coach after firing Arthur Smith after three seasons as their head coach.
