Falcons Interview Raheem Morris For Head-Coaching Job

The Atlanta Falcons announced on Saturday that they have interviewed Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris for their head-coaching opening. Morris was part of then-Falcons head coach Dan Quinn's staff from 2015-20 and acted as the team's interim head coach for the final 11 games of the 2020 season. Since his time with the Falcons, he's won a Super Bowl for the Rams as their defensive coordinator. In his time with Atlanta, Morris held the position of assistant head coach and pass-game coordinator before being promoted to wide receivers coach from 2016-19. He was then promoted to defensive coordinator in 2020 in his last year with the team before becoming the interim head coach. As of right now, future Hall of Famer Bill Belichick is the Falcons' top target to replace Arthur Smith.
