Falcons Interview Jim Harbaugh For Head-Coach Job

The Atlanta Falcons announced on Tuesday that they interviewed Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh for their head-coach opening. The meeting comes just a day after the Falcons interviewed former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for the same position. The 60-year-old Harbaugh has been at Michigan since 2015 and just won the National Championship. He has was won at least 12 games in each of the past three seasons. Harbaugh went 44-19-1 while coaching the San Francisco 49ers prior to being at Michigan, with two NFC West titles, three playoff appearances, three NFC Championship appearances and one Super Bowl berth. He's the seventh coach to interview for the Falcons' open head-coaching position to replace Arthur Smith, who was fired on Jan. 8 after three seasons on the job.
