Falcons Concerned With Mack Hollins' Injury
one year ago

Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said on Monday that wide receiver Mack Hollins' (ankle) ankle issue is the injury he's most concerned about leading into Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Hollins suffered the setback during the first half of Sunday's eventual 31-28 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, gathering all three passes for 36 yards before his day ultimately ended. The veteran speedster was occupying a more prominent role in the absence of Drake London (groin), but he has only 17 catches (29 targets) for 247 scoreless yards in nine games this year. Hollins would be unlikely to experience further fantasy relevance even if he is active next Sunday, since Atlanta is optimistic that London can from return from a groin problem for Week 11. Van Jefferson would likely have the most value to gain if Hollins can't play against the Cards, with KhaDarel Hodge picking up more snaps in three-receiver sets.
