Falcons Complete Interview With Bill Belichick

The Atlanta Falcons completed an interview with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for their head-coach opening on Monday. Both the Falcons and Carolina Panthers, who also have an opening at general manager, are two teams from the NFC South that are interested in the six-time Super Bowl-champion head coach. The Washington Commanders reportedly have no interest in Belichick, but there is a lot of speculation that the Dallas Cowboys could be hot on Belichick's scent if owner Jerry Jones decides to fire Mike McCarthy following another embarrassing early playoff exit during wild-card weekend. The Falcons are looking for a new head coach after firing Arthur Smith right at the end of the 2023 regular season.
