Ezekiel Elliott Expected To Get Starter's Reps Against Dallas
one year ago

New England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott, who has been impressive through the first three weeks, is expected to get starter's repetitions in Week 4 against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys. It's a big homecoming for Elliott as he returns to Dallas, so head coach Bill Belichick is going to try and use that to his team's advantage. It's obviously not what you want to hear if you have Rhamondre Stevenson in your starting lineups this weekend, though. Elliott played 27 offensive snaps in last week's win over the New York Jets but carried the ball 16 times for 80 yards, while Stevenson saw 47 snaps and 19 carries for 59 yards. If Zeke outperforms Stevenson again against Dallas, he could be in for a bigger role in this offense moving forward.
