Eric Bieniemy To Be UCLA's Offensive Coordinator
one year ago

Former Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is heading to the college ranks to be UCLA's new associate head coach/offensive coordinator after finalizing a two-year deal over the weekend, according to sources. It will be a homecoming for Bieniemy, who grew up in the area and was a Bruins assistant from 2003-05. He interviewed for the Commanders' head-coaching job this offseason and two other offensive coordinator jobs, but he ultimately decided not to stay in D.C. or accept a job with another team to coach running backs. It will be Bieniemy's first college job since working as Colorado's offensive coordinator from 2011-12. Former head coach Chip Kelly served as UCLA's offensive play-caller in recent seasons.
