Emmanuel Moseley Tears His ACL Again
one year ago

Detroit Lions cornerback Emmanuel Moseley (knee) tore his right ACL in the Week 5 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in his first game back from the torn left ACL he suffered in Week 5 last year, according to a source. The 27-year-old signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Lions in free agency this spring and was one of several free-agent additions to the secondary in the offseason alongside Cameron Sutton and safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who is on Injured Reserve with a pectoral injury. It's a really tough blow for Detroit's secondary and for Moseley, who has played in more than 12 games in a season just once in his career due to injuries. He will miss the rest of the 2023 season.
