Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Emari Demercado rushed 13 times for 58 yards while catching four of five targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Seahawks. This was a surprise to the entire fantasy world as Demercado received just three touches in Week 6. The rookie was effective in this game and averaged a healthy 4.5 yards but with projected starter Keaontay Ingram and backup Damien Williams also in the three-back mix, there is no guarantee Demercado will continue his string of success. While he will be a popular waiver wire pickup heading into Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens, fantasy managers may want to take a wait-and-see approach to discover how this backfield will shake out.
