Emari Demercado Suffers Neck Injury On Sunday

Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado (neck) didn't return to Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 24-year-old took a hard shot early in the contest. While he cleared a concussion evaluation, he was ruled out with a neck injury. Demercado missed three games ahead of the Week 12 meeting with the Rams because of a toe injury. However, he could be facing another extended absence, especially since it's a neck injury. But with James Conner atop the depth chart, it will be tough for Demercado to receive routine touches moving ahead.
