Emari Demercado Still Not Practicing

Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Emari Demercado (toe) remains out of practice on Wednesday. Demercado suffered a toe injury in Week 8 and was inactive for the Week 9 loss to the Cleveland Browns. The 24-year-old is off to a bad start early in the week and will need to get back on the practice field in the next couple of days to have a chance to play this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. In other Cardinals RB news, James Conner (knee) has been designated to return from Injured Reserve and was limited in practice Wednesday. The veteran is eligible to return from IR after already missing four games and seems primed to play this weekend, which would render Demercado essentially useless for fantasy purposes if he ends up being able to play. When healthy, Conner should revert to being Arizona's bell-cow back.
