Emari Demercado Looks To Gain Momentum In Week 8

Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado is worth a start in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens. Last week, Demercado played 80% of the offensive snaps for the Cardinals and totaled 17 touches to go with 75 total yards, making him the RB21 for the week. Even though the Ravens are at or near the top in most defense categories, most of those are on the passing side of the ball. When it comes to run defense, Baltimore is surprisingly mediocre. They have given up the seventh-most receiving yards and the ninth-highest yards per reception to the running back position. As a result, Demercado could do surprisingly well in this game. This potential combined with his position as the main backfield option for the Cardinals makes him worth a start as an RB2/3.
