Emanuel Wilson Sees Four Touches In Loss To Broncos
one year ago

Green Bay Packers rookie running back Emanuel Wilson had two carries for 19 yards and caught both of his targets in the passing game for eight yards in the 19-17 Week 7 loss on the road to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Wilson's four carries were a new career-high with the Packers electing to ease lead back Aaron Jones back into the fold after he missed the Week 5 contest due to a hamstring injury (the Packers had a bye in Week 6). The 24-year-old averaged a strong 9.5 yards per carry on the ground against a porous Broncos run defense. However, as long as Jones and AJ Dillon remain healthy, Wilson won't have any fantasy appeal in the vast majority of fantasy leagues in what has been an unexciting Packers offense as we approach the halfway mark of the 2023 season.
