Emanuel Wilson In A Sling After Week 11 Win
12 months ago

Green Bay Packers rookie running back Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) was injured in the Week 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers and had his left shoulder in a sling after the game, making it unlikely that he'll be available to play in the Thanksgiving game next Thursday against the division-rival Detroit Lions in Week 12. Wilson said he felt a pop in his shoulder, which is usually never good, but we'll know more on his status moving forward after he has more tests on Monday. The Packers also lost Aaron Jones to a knee injury that caused him to be carted off on Sunday, so AJ Dillon has a good chance of serving as Green Bay's primary ball-carrier against the Lions on Thursday. Wilson finished with three carries for 12 yards and caught one of two targets for a nine-yard gain before his injury against LA. The only other RB on the Packers' roster (practice squad) is rookie Ellis Merriweather.
