His status for Week 14 is in doubt after being absent for the first two practice sessions of the week. Mitchell has been operating as the primary backup to Christian McCaffrey. If Mitchell sits, McCaffrey will likely see an increased workload during this game. Jordan Mason would probably take over as the backup to McCaffrey. However, he probably won't have much fantasy value even with increased snaps.
