Ejiro Evero, Mike McDonald Have Second Interviews With Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons requested second interviews with Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald and associate head coach/defensive line coach Anthony Weaver for their head-coaching position, according to sources. In addition to the Falcons, the Panthers also plan to conduct a second interview with Evero for their vacant head-coaching job on Monday. The Seattle Seahawks are another team looking at Evero for their head-coaching position after he excelled with an undermanned defense in Carolina in 2023. The Falcons have done their due diligence interviewing head-coaching candidates across the league, with the two biggest names being Bill Belichick and Jim Harbaugh.
