Efe Obada Fractures His Leg Sunday

Washington Commanders edge rusher Efe Obada (leg) suffered a fractured right leg in the Week 11 game against the New York Giants and will not return. Obada had to be carted off the field in the first quarter with an injury that will most likely end his 2023 season. It's a tough break for a Commanders defensive line that already traded away Chase Young and Montez Sweat. The 31-year-old Obada didn't record any stats in this game before fracturing his leg. He came into Sunday's divisional contest with just two tackles (one solo) in four games played in his second season with Washington. K.J. Henry and Andre Jones are in line for more playing time with Obada out.
