Eagles Defense Looks To Stifle Washington In Rematch
one year ago

The Philadelphia Eagles defense will go on the road to take on the Washington Commanders in Week 8. Overall, this season, the Eagles have been a fine fantasy option, even holding the vaunted Miami Dolphins offense to just 11 points and generating an interception. However, The Commanders gave Philadelphia's defense fits the last time they played in Week 4, and it was their worst fantasy outing to date. Since then, the Eagles have gotten healthier, played better in all phases, and added Pro Bowl safety Kevin Byard to the mix. It is tough to imagine Washington putting up over 30 points on the Eagles' defense as they did in Week 4, and with quarterback Sam Howell leading the league in times sacked, the Eagles defense has a safe baseline of fantasy points to fall back on if things get out of hand. Start them with confidence in Week 8.
