Durham Smythe Picks Up A DNP Wednesday
one year ago

Miami Dolphins tight end Durham Smythe (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Smythe left the Week 8 win over the New England Patriots wearing a walking boot, so it shouldn't be a big surprise that he's not practicing a few days later. The 28-year-old could be considered a long shot to be ready to play in Week 9 in Germany against the Kansas City Chiefs. Smythe really hasn't been on the fantasy radar to begin with in 2023, catching just 14 of 19 targets for 151 yards and no touchdowns in eight games (seven starts). If he's unable to gain clearance to play this weekend in Europe, Julian Hill would see an expanded role as Miami's top pass-catching tight end, but he wouldn't be a realistic TE streamer in fantasy leagues.
