Drew Lock May Start Against 49ers

Backup quarterback Drew Lock may get the start for the Seattle Seahawks when they take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14. Geno Smith (groin) is shaping up to be a game-time decision on Sunday after injuring his groin in practice on Thursday. The Seahawks elevated Sean Mannion from the practice squad on Saturday, indicating that Smith is trending in the wrong direction and that it will be Lock under center and in need of a backup himself. Lock has made only two appearances in the regular season going a combined 4-for-12 for 66 yards and throwing one interception. Should he be Seattle's signal-caller against the 49ers, he should be avoided in fantasy. Furthermore, DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba owners should expect those receivers to take a step back in production.
