Dontayvion Wicks Questionable To Play In Week 15
11 months ago

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) is officially questionable to play in Week 15 on Sunday against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wicks suffered an ankle injury late in Monday night's loss to the New York Giants and is now iffy to suit up this weekend. Christian Watson (hamstring) is likely to miss his second straight game as well, as he's listed as doubtful to play. If Wicks is inactive on Sunday, the Packers will be down to Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed as their top two receivers for quarterback Jordan Love, giving one of Samori Toure or Malik Heath a chance to step into the No. 3 role. The 22-year-old Wicks was believed to be dealing with a high-ankle sprain, which would make him likely to miss at least one week of action. Wicks has shown flashes in his first NFL season with 25 catches, 394 yards and a touchdown in 12 games, but he'll be a highly volatile deep-league WR4/flex if he's active.
