Dontayvion Wicks Involved In A Variety Of Ways In Week 7
one year ago

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks didn't see much action in the 19-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Week 7, but when he did touch the ball, he made some noise. The 22-year-old caught his only target for a 17-yard pickup, saw one rushing attempt for one yard and threw a 14-yard pass. Wicks played only 22 percent of the offensive snaps, but that could be changing in the coming weeks based on how serious Christian Watson's knee injury is. The fifth-round selection out of Virginia has only two receptions for 27 yards in the team's last three games after being more involved early in the year when Watson was sidelined with a hamstring injury. Wicks is averaging 14.0 yards per catch and has a touchdown in six games. He could be interesting in deeper fantasy leagues if Watson is forced to miss more time.
