Dolphins Hope To Sign Odell Beckham Jr.

The Miami Dolphins' meeting with free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. went well on Thursday, according to a team source. The Dolphins were pleased with how the meeting went and hope to sign Beckham. The 31-year-old former 12th overall pick by the New York Giants in 2014 out of LSU won't return to Baltimore after he caught 35 of his 64 targets for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 regular-season games (six starts) in 2023. Moving to Miami's high-scoring offense would be good for OBJ's production, but he'd still be at least a distant third on the receiving pecking order behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Beckham had five 1,000-yard seasons in his first six NFL seasons, but then the injuries hit. He'd be more intriguing from a fantasy perspective if he lands in Miami but only as a boom/bust option in deeper leagues.
