DK Metcalf - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football
one year ago

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf's 47 receiving yards led the team in their Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The fifth-year veteran scored a touchdown in the first half, but his biggest impact in the second half came on his 15-yard taunting penalty in the fourth quarter. In comments to the media this week, Metcalf alluded to his opponents being more competitive and playing harder, something that would have to change in Seattle's next game. In Week 2, the Seahawks travel to Detroit to face the Lions. In Week 1, the Lions held the Chiefs to 226 passing yards, though Kansas City's offense was missing Travis Kelce and further hindered by the poor play of Kadarius Toney. Expect a refocused Metcalf to carry WR2 value as the Seahawks look to avoid an 0-2 start to the season.
