DK Metcalf Has Disappointing Thanksgiving Game

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf led the team with nine targets in Thursday's 31-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately, that translated to just three catches for 32 receiving yards. After drawing seven first-half targets, Metcalf had just two more unsuccessful pass attempts come his way in the early part of the third quarter but he was not thrown to again even though the Seahawks were playing from behind. Seattle's dysfunctional offense is making it hard to rely on Metcalf to finish as a top-24 WR each week, though he is still a must-start given his role. There are some enticing matchups in the fantasy playoffs but before those come around fantasy managers have to contend with Metcalf's Week 13 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys followed by a second game against the 49ers.
