Diontae Johnson Practices Fully Again
one year ago

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. That's two consecutive full sessions for Johnson, who appears on track to make his return from a hamstring injury that cost him the prior four outings. The 27-year-old target hog should certainly supply a nice boost to a lukewarm Steelers offense that also hopes to get tight end Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) from his hamstring problem in Week 7, too. Sunday's road meeting with the Los Angeles Rams presents a tough draw in Johnson's likely return, since the Rams have held opposing wideouts to the fourth-fewest half-PPR fantasy points per game this year. As long as Pittsburgh activates Johnson off injured reserve, the former Pro Bowler would be an adequate WR2/3 despite the stiff matchup. Allen Robinson II would be likely to lose some of quarterback Kenny Pickett's attention.
