Diontae Johnson Expected To Practice This Week
one year ago

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hamstring) and running back Anthony McFarland Jr. (knee) will take part in practice this week, and the amount of their practice and conditioning level will determine when they are activated from Injured Reserve within the 21-day practice window. The Steelers are coming off their bye and could have both Johnson and McFarland available for their Week 7 tilt against the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday. Johnson is one of the team's top pass-catchers when healthy, but he's been out since suffering a hamstring injury in the season opener. The 27-year-old caught three passes for 48 yards in Week 1. If he's available on your league's waiver wire, scoop him up now.
