DeVonta Smith Scores For Second Week In A Row
one year ago

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught all three of his targets for 51 yards and a touchdown during the team's 28-23 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The three targets were a season-low for the 24-year-old, but Philadelphia threw the ball 23 times, tied for the team's lowest in a game this season. Smith had a beautiful, toe-tapping grab on a 29-yard pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts to put the Eagles ahead early in the third quarter. With tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) exiting this game early, Smith could be relied upon heavily in Week 11 when the Eagles face the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of last year's Super Bowl. The third-year receiver will be considered a WR2 in that matchup.
