DeVonta Smith Returns To Practice Thursday
one year ago

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session. The 24-year-old is managing a hamstring injury and briefly left the practice field but returned with a sleeve on his right leg and was able to continue drills. Smith started the season hot, getting a touchdown in each of the first two games of the season but hasn't logged a score since, and his best game since was Week 4's seven-catch, 78-yard performance. Smith's return to practice indicates he is trending in the right direction, but if there are any setbacks, Olamide Zaccheaus would be the primary beneficiary against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7.
