Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary will see an uptick in playing time in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Dameon Pierce (ankle) ruled out. Singletary will likely step into the RB1 role in Houston this weekend after backing up Pierce through the first seven contests. The veteran back has seen his snaps increase over the past few weeks, which should continue on Sunday. It is a tough matchup for Singletary, going up against a Buccaneers defense that is allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Still, he should see enough volume in Week 9 to be a fantasy RB2.
