DeVante Parker Catches Six Passes Against Former Team
one year ago

New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker turned eight targets into six catches for 57 yards against his old team, the Miami Dolphins, in Week 2. The veteran led the Patriots in catches and receiving yards while finishing second in targets (behind Kendrick Bourne's nine). Sunday marked Parker's season debut after he missed Week 1 with a knee injury. It was promising to see him play such a large role in the offense in his first game back, and it's reasonable to expect that his high involvement will continue going forward, especially amidst reports doubting the Patriots' faith in JuJu Smith-Schuster. Parker is an appealing waiver wire option in most fantasy leagues, though it'll be tough to justify starting him against the Jets in Week 3.
