Deshaun Watson Unsurprisingly Not Practicing
one year ago

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) was not seen at Thursday's practice, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram. This was the expected outcome with head coach Kevin Stefanski having already indicated that Watson is not starting in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks, though the signal-caller is yet to be formally ruled out on the injury report. The 28-year-old three-time Pro Bowler is still not right from a rotator cuff strain in his right shoulder, and we would imagine that Watson will stay sidelined during Friday's session and be officially declared out at some point this weekend. Watson feels very questionable for Week 9 versus the Arizona Cardinals and P.J. Walker will start for however long he is on the mend, downgrading most of Cleveland's surrounding skill positions in the process.
