Deshaun Watson To Have Tests On His Ankle Monday
one year ago

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (ankle) left the Week 10 win over the division-rival Baltimore Ravens on Sunday late in the first half with a left-ankle injury and then left the stadium in a walking boot after being able to finish the game under center in the comeback win. Watson said after the game that he'd be fine moving forward, but he will undergo some tests on his ankle on Monday as a precaution. Players are typically overly optimistic when it comes to their injuries, so fantasy managers shouldn't just assume that Watson will be good to go for Week 11 against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. If Watson's ankle injury is worth than he originally thought and he can't go this Sunday, P.J. Walker would be in line to make another start and would be in play as a desperation QB2 in superflex leagues against a Steelers defense that has gotten better as the season has gone on.
