Deshaun Watson Might Sit Out In Week 8
one year ago

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) didn't address the media like he normally does on Wednesday, and he might sit out in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks despite a new MRI exam showing no new damage to his right shoulder after he aggravated it in the Week 7 win over the Indianapolis Colts. There's a good chance Watson will rest his shoulder in practice on Wednesday and he's very up in the air to be available this weekend after already missing two full games in Weeks 4 and 6. The 28-year-old is still trying to regain strength while dealing with a right rotator-cuff strain, and it's a process that is going to take time. Our best bet right now is that Watson misses another game in Week 8, paving the way for P.J. Walker to make his second start of the year.
