Deshaun Watson May Not Be 100% All Year
one year ago

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) confirmed that he's dealing with a strain to the right rotator cuff in his shoulder and he's unsure if he'll be able to get back to 100 percent health this year. Watson was injured in Week 3 and didn't play in Week 4. He then had the Week 5 bye to give him some extra rest, but he still wasn't ready to go for the Week 6 win over the San Francisco 49ers. There's no telling when he'll be game-ready again, and he has no incentive to rush back with his megadeal fully guaranteed. The 28-year-old should play again at some point, but who knows when that will be. P.J. Walker should continue to start under center for the Browns for as long as Watson is sidelined after he led the team to an upset win over the Niners in Week 6.
