Deshaun Watson Looks Ready To Go
one year ago

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) took all of the first-team repetitions in the open part of practice on Friday and had some good zip on his passes. The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot thinks Watson passed the eye test and looks to be good to go to play in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts after missing the last two games with a right rotator-cuff strain. He did not practice on Wednesday but got in a limited session on Thursday. The 28-year-old signal-caller said he might not be 100% the rest of the year, but there's at least a chance he'll be ready to play this Sunday against the Colts. P.J. Walker is ready to make another start under center for the Browns if Watson ultimately doesn't get the green light. Check back later for Watson's official designation.
