Deshaun Watson Has No Additional Damage To His Shoulder
one year ago

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) had a new MRI exam on Monday that showed no additional damage to his throwing shoulder. However, he's still working to regain his strength and velocity. The Browns continue to say he's day-to-day, and his status for the Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks is to be determined. Watson missed Weeks 4 and 6 with a right rotator-cuff strain and returned this past Sunday, only to aggravate his shoulder during a hard fall to the turf. The Browns will see how the 28-year-old looks this week at practice. If he cannot go, P.J. Walker would make his second start of the year against Seattle. At less than 100%, Watson should be no more than a high-end QB2 play in fantasy if he's active.
