According to Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, quarterback Deshaun Watson (head) cleared concussion protocol, meaning he could have returned to Sunday's narrow win over the Colts. However, Stefanski added he opted to keep Watson out of the game in an effort to protect the "franchise quarterback." Nevertheless, Stefanski expects the signal-caller to practice throughout the week and play in the Browns' upcoming matchup versus the Seattle Seahawks. But if Watson can't suit up for whatever reason, P.J. Walker, who went 15-for-32 for 178 yards and an interception, would presumably be under center.
